    The Clerk of the Circuit Court has always been a Constitutional Official. As the Clerk of the Circuit Court, my responsibility is to keep and protect public records and to make them available when requested, pursuant to Florida Statutes, Chapter 119, Chapter 286 and Rule 2.240 of the Rules of Judicial Administration.

    The Clerk of the Circuit Court is the Defender of the Public Trust, Clerk of the Circuit and County Courts, Custodian and Keeper of the Land and Court Records. The Clerk provides "checks and balances" that protect the public trust. The Clerk is the custodian of all public records.

Partial Payment Plan Available

The Clerk’s Office is now accepting partial payments for non-criminal traffic citations upon entering a 90-day payment plan. A one-time non-refundable administrative fee of $25.00 and the first month's payment, plus any applicable late fees are due at the time of enrollment, along with a completed Payment Plan Agreement. Q: What if I don't have my citation number?

A: Use our Search Records area to look up your citation number.

Q: What happens if I am late with my citation payment?

A: If you are past your due date on your citation, it is possible your driver's license has been suspended. Making your payment right away is the best way to get your license cleared.

Gay couples wed in Osceola County

Couples Marry after Midnight at Osceola Courthouse

On Monday evening, Tuesday morning, (January 5th/6th, 2015) same-sex couples lined up at the Osceola County Courthouse to get married.  The county issued thirty marriage licenses to qualified couples who registered online, and those applicants were married at the courthouse that evening/early morning.  

Clerk of Court Armando Ramirez was ready to issue the same-sex marriage licenses and opened the courthouse for the midnight ceremonies.


"We are ready, willing and able, with my staff, to provide a service to the people," said Ramirez.


A local businessperson graciously paid for the security and staff to allow for this special event to occur.

Clerk Ramirez with Parade Watchers

Clerk Attends St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce Holiday Parade

Clerk of the Court, Armando Ramirez, attended the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce Holiday Parade.  Riding in a huge military vehicle graciously donated by a fellow Veteran, Clerk Ramirez waved to the crowd and stopped many times to get out and walk the parade route, shaking hands and taking pictures with parade onlookers.  Over 100 parade floats entered the celebration and proceeded along the 1.5 mile long route.

Clerk Ramirez Receives Congressional Award

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, Clerk of Court Armando Ramirez, was recognized by Florida Representative, Alan Grayson and received a Congressional Award for his service.  

The recognition was a public ceremony hosted by Grayson, as he entered Clerk Ramirez's distinguished service to the people of the United States into the Official Congressional Record on September 14, 2014.
